This series is based on photographs I took during the spring/break show when it took place at the old post office on 33rd Street in New York. I call these ‘dead spaces’. Spaces where nothing takes place and where there is a sense of decay and morbidity. By filling in areas of cracked paint with bright colors and adding lines that play with spatial perception I enter into a dialogue with these spaces, lending them a fleeting sense of life.
